All referrals are confidential. We do this by training activists, equipping state and local organizations with the skills needed to organize broad-based campaigns to defeat anti-LGBT referenda and advance pro-LGBT legislation, and building the organizational capacity of our movement. GEM offers social support group meetings on the first and third Saturdays of each month in a relaxed all inclusive atmosphere. These meetings also provide space for a concurrent closed group gathering for Transgender and gender expansive tweens and teens. We provide a safe space to discuss issues of interest — including identity, coming out, transition — to support one another in gender exploration, and to build connections with one another. Supports, defends and empowers LGBT service members, veterans and their families. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
